Why am I tired??

WoW. . .life is for sure crazy for me. I now have three kids to get ready in the mornings, 3 kids to get picked up between Brandon and I, and a FAMILY to feed each night. I will say i truly do love it, and espeically to see their smiling faces. I am still loving my new job. . .i can say i needed this change for the welfare of my family, my marriage, and my sanity. We have started a biggest loser competion at work and i have cut down my calories tremendously and even lost almost 10 lbs in two weeks =) But this next week i am going to bump up the working out to see if that helps any.
Gaining an extra child during the week has been a challenge but at the same time i love our big family we have. Hunter is still trying to adjust to his new medicine and being without any medicine in his system, but overall a HUGE change in him. Dannikka is adjusting to having her older brother around constantly so the bickering is pretty much non stop LOL They both do have a chore chart that complete in the mornings and night to get stars and money and this has helped a lot. Here is a picture of them when they could tollerate each other a few weekends ago.

Now a little about Camdon, he has mastered baby food, but not the cleanliness of it just yet. He is teething so we have his fussiness from time to time, but otherwise he is just a smiling & cheesing baby. Our little man had his 4 month check up and he is 17.3lbs and in the 90% for his age. Apparently i have an obsession with Aaron Watson (he sang our wedding song "Hearts are breaking across Texas tonight", that i dragged the kids along with me, Brandon, Kelly, Casey, Miranda, Jimmy, Caitlyn & Jared to HOT Coliseum last weekend to see him and Kevin Fowler for a free concert. The kids actually did very well considering neither of them could sit still, and moved seats about 20 times, but now they can say they have been to an actual concert.

Well, now that this blog has taken me four hours to complete and i am sure i am still missing stuff. . .i think i will call it a night. And this i guess just proves why i am tired.

Time if of the Essence

So i now officially know how precious time is. First off Camdon is almost 5 months, and then comes a year and then he will be off to kindergarten and graduating high school YIKES!!! Ok. . .breathe. . .i got this. What i have discovered is that your time is very precious and if that means you cant do a load of laundry cause you are basking in the presense of your baby sleeping. . .then so be it. The past two weeks have been very trying on Brandon and I. Hunter has come to stay with us and somehow ended up with no medicine left and didnt have an appt until yesterday. . .so if you know him i hope you know the pain i feel. . . but still deeply love him. Also, Brandon was on call for a week and swear he got called out every night and many nights didnt come home until midnight. And to add on top of things our Little Man has been teething. . .so i ache for him in his pain.

Oh yeah and while i am on a role let me tell you about our chocolate lab Ace. . .he kept chewing up things while we were gone during the day. Well we have never had this problem before Camdon. . .and then we realized he only chewed up baby things (3 bottles, 2 formula dispensers). But it looks we are still keeping both of them LOL Look at that innocent love:















I also got to start Camdon on baby food. . .can i just say what an adventure!!! It starts out so innocent and then. . . he decides to rub his face, or sneeze, or just laugh and let all the food run out his mouth!! But i wouldnt trade it for the world!! I scoop him up and we get to enjoy bath time. I guess i am raising a typical boy and i have learned to feed with no clothes on LOL




Well sorry to share my frustrations but i do feel so much better. . .Thanks all for listening. But i will say Life is great right now with job, kids and family!

New Year. . .New Beginnings

So i decided that why not start the new year with a new job LOL. . .no i just decided that it was time for a change, so i officially started my 1st day at the new job today. I was so heavy hearted about working so far away from the kids and their school stuff and so far away from picking up my Camdon as soon as possible. So i was blessed to be introduced to a job at Majestic Homes doing their closing coordinating and also working with rental property, and possibility of helping out with Marketing. . .which is my degree and i love to get my hands on it. I am so excited about this new adventure but at the same time nervous if i am doing the right thing (i think that just comes with my nature). So if anyone is in Temple these days and wants to grab lunch in the near future PLEASE hit me up.
Another, new addition to our family beside Camdon is that Hunter will be officially living with us for the rest of the school year. Good thing is we can now work with him and help him pass the 4th grade. Bad thing is i need lots of prayer so i dont hurt him. . .he can wear on your nerves but gives you lots of love :)

I am so excited to see all the new things in store for us for 2010, but sad to watch Camdon grow so fast. So i want to take this time and share some stuff we are watching him do now at 4 months. Of course he hasnt rolled over for us again, but he sure is trying daily! He is so cute right now because he has found his tongue. . .and he sure will get in a tongue war with you. He also developed a new noise. . .GRUNTING. . . dont know why but he can let out a grunt at you. I also noticed last night at midnight when i was trying to get him to sleep. . .HE IS GETTING SO BIG!!!!!!!!!!! I know it happens. . . but dang ;) Well i am off to the hospital to see my best friend, Tiffany's new baby boy Parker Grant. . .so at least i can enjoy the smallness of a newborn again. So i dont have any pictures to share at this time. . .but i will soon.

The Holiday Season's

So of course since i just tarted my BLOG, i am behind on keeping up with the holidays. . .so i will share a little. For Camdon's 1st halloween *he was a little over a month old* it was very low key. . .although being on a saturday it just seemed couldnt make our rounds like we wanted to, so we just stayed home and did some walking around the neighborhood, too which he slept most of the time. For halloween we had our little dinosaur(Camdon), a rodeo clown (Hunter) and a leopard (Dannikka).


For Thankgiving, we were blessed to get to have Hunter & Dannikka the whole weekend, so we enjoyed some time at Grammy's of course eating her awesome cooking. Camdon *was 2 1/2 months*,so he was fun at this time because he was saying "i love you". . .or at least mommy though that is what it sounded like. He also was starting to smile a lot and share those adorable dimples. . .and we could see personality coming out in him. After lunch, we of course had to make it appoint to watch THE GAME @ Lonestar. . .UT vs ATM. . . well i wont (brag) go into it too much, but the Longhorns kicked butt.



Now onto Christmas. . .WOW. Not only was it Camdon's 1st Christmas * he was 3 1/2 months old*. . .it was crazy busy. We did not get Hunter & Dannikka until Christmas day, so it just didnt seem like we could get ourselves into the Christmas Spirit very much. We did have lunch at Grammy's again and then after quickly opening gifts we had to leave to pick up both kids. Then it was off to Brandon's mom's for dinner & gifts. The neat thing about this was Brandon's brother & family were down from North Carolina. . .so i finally got to meet Sherri after 3 months of talking thru phone and internet. So as if the kids werent wore out enough, we got them to bed late and then had to get them up early so we could do "SANTA" on Saturday morning. Overall, it turned out good, but i did learn a lot about how to make next year maybe not so stressful.
